About The Author
Matthew A. Hartline, CPP, CPS is a Security Consultant with more than 14 years' experience in the army, government, and private sector. He is board certified in Security Management, and has earned advanced certification status in CPTED. His areas of expertise include CPTED, physical security, operational security, security training and management, crisis planning, and vulnerability mitigation strategies. He assisted in the development of a Concept of Operations document for total physical security upgrades at three major east coast airports, developed security plans and training programs for all maritime facilities and vessels for the Puerto Rico Port Authority, and is currently serving as the lead Security Consultant in the design of a new LAPD headquarters building.
