Reader Reviews This review is from: Building Codes Illustrated: A Guide to Understanding the International Building Code (Paperback) Building Codes are never a fun subject to have to research, but Ching makes it a little less mindnumbing by providing illustrations. I see that he has updated the book to coincide with the most recent 2006 International Building Code, since I first wrote this review. So, you can rest assured that you are getting an up-to-date guide to help you decipher the building codes. It is not all inclusive, however, so a copy of the 2006 IBC remains essential.
