Reader Reviews In a book that is heavily mathematic, it is very useful to have a table of symbols to refer to. However, this text not only has no such table, but the author often fails to define the symbols he uses! He cannot assume that the symbols he uses is so standard that the reader will already be familiar with them. Also, he even often fails to define his terms directly, but relies on homonyms in subsequent sentences, and apparently expects the reader to infer the meaning, and to know that he refers to the previous concept.
