About The Author
Dr. Noor is Ferman W. Perry Professor of Aerospace Structures and Applied Mechanics, and the Director of the University of Virginia's Center for Advanced Computational Technology at NASA Langely Research Center in Hampton, Virginia. He has edited 25 books and authored over 350 technical papers in the fields of structural mechanics, computational mechanics, new computing systems, and aerospace structures. He is the past chaiman of the AIAA structure technical committee, the editor-in-chief of Advances in Engineering Software, the associate editor of Applied Mechnanics Reviews, and serves on the editorial boards of serveral international journals.
